The Ask

In 2020, History Factory had planned to embark on a global video production tour for their client, S&P Global, to conduct interviews and film their client’s people in Singapore, Australia, Phillipines, and throughout Europe. But due to the pandemic and lockdown, they had to rethink their approach in order to execute over 20 videos for S&P Global’s employer brand campaign. So, History Factory turned to Cinebody to produce all of the content without sending out a single camera operator.

The Cinebody Video Process

  • After learning the details of History Factory and S&P Global’s video campaign needs, their dedicated Cinebody producer developed a remote video production plan that was both efficient & simple to implement.

  • The Cinebody team then worked closely with History Factory to implement the plan, developing a high-level structure for the videos, building a shot list, and educating their global employees on both how to film themselves & what to film for each of the 20+ videos.

  • Armed with the specific shot list and plan, the S&P Global employees filmed all footage within Cinebody, where it auto-uploaded to the cloud. Their dedicated Cinebody producer checked in regularly to send specific filming direction & tips throughout the filming process, ensuring all content needed was filmed.

  • As filming wrapped up, the Cinebody team kicked off editing with already approved music & custom motion graphics. A first version of each video was delivered within 36 hours for review, with finals following soon after for distribution on the S&P Global employee brand site.
