Spark New Life into Your Live Event and Transform Your Conference
When it comes to capturing attention, few things are better than live events.
According to Eventbrite, going to an event is a form of expression for 73% of millennials, while more than half of millennial parents attend events specifically so they have things to share on social media.
Now, pioneering brands around the world are using Cinebody to take things to the next level, transforming their live events into live experiences where attendees forge deeper bonds and create longer-lasting memories.
“Using Cinebody at our 2018 GME Conference was a huge success,” said Judy Payne, Director of Meetings and Travel at GameStop. “Throughout the event you could see attendees filming footage and it was exciting to see the conference through their eyes. Getting a glimpse into their experiences before, during and after the event was very cool.”
During the event, GameStop used Cinebody to collate more than 660 clips from almost 80 attendees.
“The attendees loved it,” said Payne. “You could see they were even more engaged with the event than usual and excited to bring their creativity to life. And for GameStop, not only did we get some fantastic material for this event – we’ve also now got a bank of content we can use to promote other similar events.”
Attendees who downloaded the Cinebody app filmed everything from their journeys to and from the conference to their full experience at the event – including their immediate thoughts after hearing the main speakers. They also recorded footage from various social events at the conclusion of each conference day.
All their footage was then uploaded and organized to the Cinebody platform, which provided GameStop with instant access to countless hours of clips they could utilize for promotional content.
Attending events has been a traditionally passive experience. But with Cinebody, savvy brands can move their attendees from observers into participants – helping them feel more empowered, connected and motivated to show others the true experience of your event. That richer experience is crucial, according to Entrepreneur, in “authentically spreading the excitement far beyond the four walls of the event.”
